Thurne Mill, Norfolk

There are lots of old, wind-powered mills up and down the country, but there are few that are intact. Thurne Mill is a beautiful example of a drainage mill - designed to drain the marshes for the farmers - and is now over 200 years old. In this photograph, I captured it at dawn, with the soft glow of the rising sun lighting it up, diffused by the morning mist.
