Atlantic Wall, France

Hitler’s Atlantic Wall stretched from Norway to Spain and at a length of 1600 miles is one of the most impressive defensive structures ever to be built. One of the most unique elements of the wall is this 3000 ton bunker that hangs over the cliff 100 meters above the beach & English Channel below. Originally the bunker would have stood in a field watching for the invasion, but today due to coastal erosion it waits to plunge to the waves below.
