Llanddwyn Island

Two Mawr Lighthouse is one of two lighthouses on Llanddwyn Island and was constructed in the 1800s. The island itself has a rich history and is rich in legends, in particular with St Dwynwen - the Welsh patron saint of lovers. For me, this location holds a different history as my Grandma lived in Newborough and we would come here for the holidays and thus it holds a special place in my heart.
