Dovercourt Lighthouse

One of the two Dovercourt lighthouses which were pillars in the history of lighthouse design specifically for the deep-water harbour. Their construction and unusual design were considered very much unique resulting in the absence of any marked subsidence at the present time. Consequently, they remain an admired feature and an absolute delight to photograph on the Harwich coastline.
