Twelve Apostles Stone Circle, Rombolds Moor, West Yorkshire

The Twelve Apostles Stone Circle is situated on the moorland between Ilkley Moor and Burley Moor in West Yorkshire. Thought to date to Neolithic times, this location sits high on the moors and provides spectacular and distant views of the surrounding countryside. The site is considered to be at risk, with stones having fallen and been re-erected several times over the years. The site is also heavily eroded by the elements and passing footfall.
