Windy Post Cross

The Windy Post Cross that stands silently on Dartmoor, is a late-medieval moorland cross.
Sometimes known as the Beckamoor Cross, this granite cross is very well preserved, known to be erected around the 16th century. This Dartmoor ancient relic near to Feather Tor, marks the moorland route from Merrivale Bridge to Moortown and on to Tavistock, the cross arms are aligned on an east/west axis.
